about us
Leasowes Primary School is part of SESAT – The South East Stafford Academy Trust. We work in partnership with Barnfields Primary School that enables wonderful collaborative opportunities to impact the lives and outcomes of all of our children.
Leasowes Primary School is a vibrant and lively two-form entry school that sits within the heart of the Baswich community. It boasts the most enviable grounds that are continually improved to provide the very best, bespoke opportunities for our children. We are a Forest School that is facilitated by our own trained staff that allows all of the children access to an exciting outdoor curriculum that not only supports subjects, develops children’s personal development, confidence and self-esteem but also drives our commitment to ‘Protect Today to Preserve Tomorrow’.
We pride ourselves on our rigorous curriculum offer, that is driven by our values and ‘Rooted in Reading’. We firmly believe that we ‘Learn to Read to Read to Learn’ and therefore provide a plethora of diverse books that immerse children in learning and encourage reading for pleasure. We have a Library Learning Hub at the heart of the school, which children access through their year groups but also during lunchtimes. In addition, we have classroom libraries, where age-appropriate books are carefully selected to support subjects and drive tolerance and understanding.
We are a super resourced school with passionate and driven staff who strive to provide the very best experiences and outcomes for all of our children.
